ESN Boardmembers

ESN Diemen Board 2008-2009
ESN-Diemen aims to help all incoming international and exchange students to socially integrate at INholland Diemen and therefore also the Dutch society. This we do by organizing activities and workshops on both an educational and socio-cultural level.
At present ESN-Diemen consists of four Board-members who voluntarily endeavor to achieve the objectives of the organization.

Rosa:
Hi there! My name is Rosa and I’m 21 years old. I grew up in Ede, but because of my study I moved to Amsterdam! My major is Leisure Management, I’m in third year now. This means I'm busy with my internship now and I won't be much at school. Before I started this study I thought I wanted to be a teacher at primary school. I love to work with kids and I had a lot of fun during the study, but after one year I found out I didn’t want to be a teacher at all!

Last year I heard about ESN for the first time. At first I helped the board just a little, but in January 2008 I became a board member. I really like to organize events for so many different nationalities. I met a lot of nice people already! I hope you like your stay in Holland, and I suggest we make a great time of your stay at Amsterdam!

Frans:
Hi, my name is Frans and I'm 25 years old. I live in Amsterdam for almost 3 years now and am studying IBMS. I started studying ICM but switched to IBMS in the second year. I'm currently doing my internship at TomTom and hope to graduate in 2009.
Last year I was in Nice, France as an exchange student and had an amazing time with the parties and events that were organised for us. This motivated me to join ESN when I came back and to organise some great parties and events for exchange students in Diemen. I'm sure ESN will help you have a good time here in Amsterdam and I hope to meet many of you.


Yafit:

Hey there! My name is Yafit and I am 22 years old. I live in Edam and I started studying Leisure Management this year in Diemen. I am originally from Israel and I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago. I like taking part of organizing activities, events and such and being able to do that for foreign students (like myself) sounds like a lot of fun.

Just like many of you out there, I am a normal student who enjoys parties, music, soccer and plenty of other things. ESN is a great organization which mainly tries to give you guys a good time and I am looking forward to making it happen.

 

Aziz:
Hello Everyone. My name is Aziz and i am 23 years old international student from Pakistan.I am living in amsterdam from last 3 years. I am studing Information Technology at Hogeschool inholland in Diemen and in second year of my studies. A part from studies I am also playing firstclass (Eerste klasse) Cricket in the Netherlands playing for Bloemendaal. Many of you may not know about the sports…

When I was in my first year of studies I liked ESN the way they oranize a lot of different activities and parties for exchange and international students which I think was a great effort from Dutch students. Which is also a reason for me to join the ESN. I hope you will enjoy your stay here and ESN will give you a vert good time which you will remmember for a very long time. See you soon.
