
We are opening a call for two new Social Erasmus coordinators:
- One will be responsible for the project management
- One will be responsible for the communication around the project
What are their tasks?
- Managing and updating the website (not launched yet)
- Being in contact with the National Coordinators (answering questions from local or national level)
- Reporting to the responsible Board member the status of the project
With the following call, ESN is looking for 3 skilled people to be part of the YFJ Liaison Office of ESN. The duration of the position is 2 years, starting from December 2010, to be reconfirmed after the first year.

People around always ask: 'why to study abroad?'. This is why in this edition we would like to explore what are the benefits of having done an academic exchange. Additionally, we would like to learn about economical situation of exchange students while studying abroad as well as their opinion about quality of studies at home and host university.
On the 15th of July 2010, the Erasmus Student Network’s new International Board takes office in Brussels. Their objectives? Professionalize one of the biggest European network of student associations, continue to launch and develop its international projects and promote ESN as a key organisation and a decisive factor in International Higher Education issues.
On 21st June 2010 ESN International and Pernod Ricard officially signed the European partnership agreement to develop the Responsible Party Program. The initiative includes a complete toolkit to help students organize parties in a responsible way. During the trial period ESN Lausanne and ESN Gent organized parties in their cities. Thanks to the partnership with Generation 112 ESN international was given to opportunity to have regularly (on a bimonthly basis) its own radio emission directly from the European Commission.
ESN International is working on publishing an ESN History Book. The History Book will be composed of two parts, one about the general ESN History seen year by year and one about the history of all the countries within ESN, taken country by country.

The Network & Events Committee is searching for active ESN members for the Vice-Chair Network and Vice-Chair Events positions!
Since the elections of the Committee Chairs at CNR Warsaw, the position of Vice-Chair Events staid vacant due to missing candidates. The current Vice-Chair Network would need to resign from the position due to limited time ressources after a new suitable person is found!
Therefore, it is you chance to join the Network & Events Committee!
Write an article for the 9th edition of the ESN Magazine! The topic of this edition is "ESN in action". We're waiting for your articles till the 20th May 2010.
The requirements are as follows:
ESN International is searching for the core team for the Section Guide project! In total 6 people will be elected to the core project team and from them the main coordinator.
For applying a motivation letter containing your previous ESN experience should be sent until the 1st of July to Veeli Oeselg at vicepresident@esn.org.

Knowledge transfer is an area which is naturally related to the status / nature of alumni – connecting the past and the present, connecting the voluntary student organization with professional experience from various fields. Therefore the ESN Alumni initiated "The Alumni prize for knowledge transfer", the prize given by alumni to active ESNers focused on knowledge transfer.
During the Council of Members (COMEM) of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) held on 23rd-24th April in Brussels ESN has been approved as a full member of YFJ.
